GENIE ROCKET BLOGS
How many touchpoints does it take before someone moves to the next step of the buyer's journey?
On average, it takes 8-10 follow-ups to get someone to move to action. That number is on the rise with all the noise and distractions around us.
This means that we have to be on our game when it comes to following up with prospects.
At Genie Rocket, our partner Coach Burt has a system to help solve this problem, called the Fanatical Follow-Up System. PS - Bonus video training at the bottom of this post.
If you follow up in the first 5 minutes you are 10X more likely to close a deal than if you wait 10 minutes.
The average sales follow time is 45 hours
48% of salespeople never follow up
Only 25% of businesses followup twice, then they QUIT
1 out of 8 make 3 contact attempts then STOP
The great thing about this system is that it's easy to understand, easy to implement, and it really works.
(You're going to simply organize your contacts into 7 categories, we'll define the purpose of each of those later.)

The first step is to organize your list into those categories, then begin your work!
You can automate messages in your FARM CLUB category by using a system like Genie Rocket and creating a trigger that simply says if they are in FARM CLUB, then enroll them in a new campaign that consists of your 8+ follow-up emails.
Here's a quick screenshot showing how you can make simple columns in Genie Rocket, under Opportunities, to keep all these organized.
Here are the 10 types of emails to use for a fanatical follow-up:
